Here are two talks, both from TED about aging.

The first one is about life style and the second is about how science may advance to point that it is possible to repair the damages to our body cells due to metabolism. When the rate of repair is faster than damages generated, we can live as long as we like.

Whether we like to live longer or not, I don't think there is any religion which can compete with science for those who want to live longer.
