Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
So god granted human the custodianship of the planet Earth. What have we done to earth? Rivers are running dry (e.g. Australia's Darling Murray River), Old grown forest are disappearing fast, fish are becoming less and less, the atmosphere is full of our emitted carbon dioxide.
This is wrong and it is now threatening the civilisation as we know it.
We MUST co-exist with other species, plants, water and air. The earth is a spaceship. Everything we need must be found on this planet. When the resources are used up, it is used up. Until human became the dominating species, the earth is a big recycler. Water runs down the river into the sea. The source of the river is replenished by rain - which is evaporation from sea. Animals eat plants, produces waste and carbon dioxide. Plants, with the help of sun light, convert carbon dioxide back to food and uses the animal waste as the fertiliser.
Human has messed up the balance. The climate is going to change. To avoid hitting a total annihilation, we must revert the course of climate change - which is not easy.
However, if and when human are gone, nature will continue. Nature will take back control.
The whole notion of god giving custodianship to human is just wrong. Nature does not need human to care for it. Nature is more than capable of taking care of itself. It is time we look at ourselves in the mirror and ask ourselves what have we done. What can we do to revert the climate change? Time is running out.
